We hope you're enjoying the "down" season for tennis. You may be playing indoors in on of the nearby South Suburban facilities, Randy Ross's new facility in Dove Valley, or one of the nearby fitness clubs such as Lifetime or Greenwood.
Of course Colorado tends to provide opportunities to play in the neighborhood on warm days. The Willow Creek HOAs suggest you avoid shoveling snow off of the courts because it is easy to damage the surface of the courts which can result in expensive repairs or resurfacing. But if you do shovel one of the courts during the winter, please do not use a metal-edged shovel and make sure to shovel gently along the surface of the court. Also please move all snow outside of the courts - do not leave any piles on nearby courts (or on the court you’re working on if you’re only shoveling a portion of the court) since these piles take much longer to melt, their melt results in ice, all of which delays access to the courts.
See you next spring!
If you're a resident of Willow Creek HOA 1, 2, or 3, and you want to play on a USTA team out of Willow Creek, email us at willowcreek123tennis.com with your name, home address, which HOA you live in, cell phone number, and a little bit about your tennis experience. We will introduce you to the captain(s) of the appropriate teams and if they don’t have space now, we will add you to our “Wanna Play” list and you will be contacted as soon as space is available.
USTA League Play is a great way to improve your game and your social life!
