Applying for a Team Number

To play USTA Colorado league tennis out of Willow Creek a team must obtain a USTA Team Number from Willow Creek Tennis Facility Coordinator.

How to apply:

• Identify a Team Sponsor
  Team Sponsor must reside in Willow Creek HOA 1, 2 or 3 and be in good standing with their HOA.  The Team Sponsor may or may not be the team captain and is the single point of contact for a team. All correspondence will be sent to the sponsor.

• Complete the Team Number Request Form linked below.
  Applicant team must have both the USTA required minimum number of players and the WCTC required minimum number HOA residents.

• Deliver the form and payment to the Willow Creek Facility Coordinator before the deadline for that league. Forms shall be emailed to darling4 at gmail.com AND willowcreek123tennis at gmail.com  . Or print the completed form and deliver it with a check to the Facility Coordinator.

• Check and form must be delivered to the Facility Coordinator by the deadline. Application will only be considered complete when the correct payment  and Team Number Request Form are received by the Facility Coordinator.

• Team Sponsor will be notified whether or not the applicant team will receive a team number within two days after the WCTC application deadline. If a team number is not awarded, the check will be destroyed.   

• If a  team number is awarded the team must register on the USTA site before the USTA deadline for that league.  A  team that fails to register with USTA, will not be scheduled.

• Teams that are awarded a team number may add players to their WCTC roster following the Willow Creek Tennis Club policies and procedures of the Club.

• Five-line teams must have 3 HOA residents
• Four-line teams must have 3 HOA residents
• Three-line teams must have 2 HOA residents

Note: There has been some concern expressed that these minimum numbers may not be adequate and the numbers are under review. In the meantime, these remain the minimum HOA resident requirements. Comments can be directed to willowcreek123tennis@gmail.com,
